League Secretary and FA admin message
Dear Secretary
There is a facility within the Full-Time web site for the team managers to text the result direct to the web site. We have done some trials with this last season and it works well. We need team manager mobile phone numbers to set them up on the web site, these numbers cannot be accessed by any one else, managers will receive a text alert on the match day to respond to.
By doing this managers do not have to phone fixture secretaries so the cost is no more and it enables results to be entered quicker, it also means they wont be fined for forgetting to phone results in!
Once the results have been text to the site they stay hidden until they are approved by the fixture secretary.
Only team managers whose numbers have been logged on the site can be used to text results
Please can you forward managers name, mobile number and which team they are responsible for, if the team manager is unable to do this you can nominate another person to send results.
Once we have all the details and get it set up I will send more comprehensive instructions

Just to clarify a couple of things from Steve's note:
To take advantage of this service, each team must appoint a TEAM ADMINISTRATOR. This will normally be the team manager or another nominated person.
The information required to set this role up on the FA Full-Time website is as follows:
TEAM NAME
TEAM ADMINISTRATOR'S NAME
TEAM ADMINISTRATOR'S EMAIL ADDRESS
TEAM ADMINISTRATOR'S MOBILE NUMBER
Just after a specific match kicks off, the Team Administrator will receive a test message from the website. At full time he replies to that text message, entering the final score in a very simple format, the details of which will be advised later direct to each Team Administrator.
To re-iterate, all this information will be held confidentially. None of it is visible in the public domain.
As this will take some time to set up with over 150 teams taking part this year, please collate and return each team's information as quickly as possible.
The purpose of going down this route is to streamline the entire process from the full-time whistle to getting the results displayed and the league tables updated.
